The subframe bushings are really hard to test off of the car. I pulled the subframe out of my 2001 330xi this past summer that had about 180,000 miles and the bushings honestly looked fine. I was doing the three differential bushings and decided just to do all seven while it was out. I also have an Xi, so there isn't as much rear torque.
